Aubrey Plaza, born on June 26, 1984 is a stand-up comedian and actor known for her dry sense of humor. She plays April Ludgate, a character on Parks and Recreation. Her debut came on The Jeannie Tate Show, a web series after performing improv comedy and sketches at Upright Citizens Brigade Theater Plaza. She continued her career with guest appearances on Funny People by Judd Apatow and Scott Pilgrim in vs. World. Her birth should be celebrated this day. Aubrey Christina Plaza was born in Wilmington Delaware the daughter of attorney Bernadette Plaza and Financial specialist David Plaza. Her mother is Irish, English and Irish and her father was Puerto Rican. Plaza earned a degree from the New York University's Tisch School of the Arts and was a Catholic, all-girls college in 2006, after graduating in 2002. The year she completed her senior year in the high school she served as president of the Student Council at her Catholic all-girls school and was a part of Wilmington Drama League performances. Plaza had stroke in her sophomore year at the college. It left her with an expressive aphasia aswell as a paralysis. Her recovery is complete. Plaza began performing sketches and improv at the New York's Upright Citizens Brigade Theater back in 2004. She has also presented stand-up comedy shows at the Laugh Factory and The Improv in N.Y.C. Plaza has appeared on television as Robin Gibney in E.S.P.N.'s Mayne Street, The Jeannie Tate Show and the first episode Terrible Decisions starring Ben Schwartz. The actress played Princess, the satirical Sci-Fi character from CollegeHumor Troopers. Plaza made her saxophone debut in the film Cassorla's Bona Fide in 2014. She first appeared on Father John Misty's Hollywood Forever Cemetery Sings' in 2012. In the year 2016 Plaza appeared in HarmonQuest as Hawaiian Coffee a gnome. That same year she portrayed Aaron Burr In Drunk History and Cat Adams in Season 11 of the C.B.S. Criminal Minds is a television serial. The actress's role was revived by Plaza in Season 12. A year later it was confirmed that Plaza would appear in the indie comedy An Evening with Beverly Luff Linn.
