Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn, an American actress from America. Her most famous role is Skyler White in Breaking Bad, an AMC show Breaking Bad, for which she won the Primetime Emmy Award in 2013 as well as 2014 in the category of Outstanding Supporting Actress in the Drama Series. In addition to playing Martha Bullock and Jean Ward as well, she was a part of The Practice. Born in Sante Fe, New Mexico in the year 1968, Anna Gunn fell in love with acting in Preparatory School before her family moved to Ohio during the latter part of 1970. She spent a year at the British American Drama Academy and took classes in theatre at Northwestern University. Anna was a part of a couple of seasons in Chicago the theatre before moving to TV and film roles. In 1992 Anna got her first major part in the role of Arden in 29 episodes of Down the Shore. Anna continued to appear in movies and TV series such as Seinfeld, NYPD Blue and others up to the late 1990's. She was then cast in The Practice as Jean Ward. Martha Bullock, a character she played for two years in Deadwood's second season. Skyler appeared on screen in Breaking Bad (2008). Sully, the Deadwood film and other films also featured her. Gunn is also a part of the the stage for David Schwimmer's show Sex With Strangers. In 2022, Gunn was a part of a four-part audio-play series named "Numbered days". The love story with Walter White and his wife Skyler is often the backbone of the story in Breaking Bad with the strained tension in their relationship, and eventually its demise echoing the same storyline of Walter White's final days of life.
